Steel Grating is a kind of open steel member with its bearing bars&cross bars jointing at their intersections either by welding or by locking. Steel grating is made of carbon steel or stainless steel. Carbon steel grating or mild steel grating, is lighter and cheaper than stainless steel grating, as it material grade is lower than that of stainless steel. Stainless steel grating is smooth at surface, it's much more expensive than carbon steel grating. Most customers prefer mild steel grating more than stainless steel grating. Steel grating is made of bearing bar and cross bar. Steel grate is weighty with strong pressure resistance, which makes it widely used as steel grating flooring, steel grain grate, steel safety grating, steel grate walkway,industrial floor grating and so on. It can be made to plain steel bar grating or serrated steel grating.
Regarding on surface treatment, coating, hot-dipped galvanizing and untreated are available for mild steel grating, in which hot-dipped galvanizing is commonly recommended. For stainless steel grating , it usually doesn't need any surface treatment as it is smooth and anti-corrosive.

Mild steel grating is carbon steel grating. It is most widely required as it is cheaper than stainless steel grating with high strength. There are plenty of types for flat bars of steel floor grating, such as 30*5, 32*5, 30*3, 45*5, 45*3, 50*6, 60*5, 100*5 and other types for your requirements, while 30/100, 40/100, 30/50, 41/100, 60/100....are available for spacing.

Stainless steel grates, or ss grating is a little weightier than mild steel grating, stainless steel gratings,it doesn't need any surface treatment as stainless grating's surface is smooth and stainless is born to be anti rust and corrosion resistant. Stainless bar grating is loved by people as its glossy surface. There are kinds of material grades for stainless steel grating, like SS304, SS316, SS316L, SS310, SS310S and so on.

Aluminum Grating Process and Installation The most important process for aluminum grating is swaging. It is the advantage and this technology is modern. The swaging machine is designed and owned by HY. Have aluminum ingot melt in the furnace and then extruded in the mold to be aluminum flats. After aging, aluminum flats become hard.
