Surface Treatment

A. Hot-Dip Galvanizing
Hot-dip galvanizing is the best surface treatment way for steel grating&stair tread, steel stanchions. Under the environment ranging from PH6 to PH12.5, the protective layer will be formed on the zinc coating, which has good corrosion resistance.  It could reach 100μ thickness and steel grating with 100μ hot-dip galvanizing has a anticipated life time of 40-100 years according to different environment.

B. Powder Coating
Powder coating is available for steel grating&stair tread, but it is usually used for aluminum grating&aluminum louver. There are many colors for your reference, and 10 years or 15 years warranty is generally adopted.

C. Clear Anodizing
Clear anodizing is the most common way for aluminum products, like swaged aluminum grating&swaged aluminum louver, aluminum fin louver, aluminum stair tread, aluminum railings&stanchions and so on. 20μ-25μ thickness anodizing is usually recommended.

Aluminum Grating Process and Installation The most important process for aluminum grating is swaging. It is the advantage and this technology is modern. The swaging machine is designed and owned by HY. Have aluminum ingot melt in the furnace and then extruded in the mold to be aluminum flats. After aging, aluminum flats become hard. Then have the flats serrated and punched, make the cross bars into the punching holes. Then swaging the product to make it stable. The aluminum grating is finished ! At last we can cut or band as per customers’ requirements.  Bearing bars are usually flats and the cross bars defaults to 8x8mm square bars.
